George Milla Construction Limited has been building homes in the Kitchener-Waterloo, Cambridge and Guelph areas for over 45 years. George started his career as an apprentice in Austria in 1953. After moving to Canada, he worked as a carpenter. George started his own carpentry business in 1961, started building homes in 1963 and incorporated as George Milla Construction Limited in 1967. George has always believed in giving back to the industry and the community. He has served as a Director and President of the local Home Builder's Association, as well as a Director of the Ontario Home Builder's Association, and the Ontario New Home Warranty Program. George has also served as the Chairman for both the Local Planning Board and the Property Standards Committee, was Chairman of the Board of St. Joseph's Home for the Aged and served as a board member for St. Joseph's Hospital.
